Dining table mod
We needed more grandkid sleeping space in our 29 RS plus the leg room under the stock table was lacking. Especially when there’s just two of us. So here’s the fix. I started with a IKEA $79.00 pine table, trimmed it to 40”X30”, and then stained it. I didn’t think the pine matched the decor so I took some left over vinyl snap and click flooring and trimmed the edges with 1X. In hindsight I could have just used 3/4 plywood. I made the width 24” to match two pieces of flooring. I used corse dry wall screws into the side wall and the strip seems secure. The one folding chair fits behind the theater chairs so we can still accommodate a foursome. The bench storage is for my wife’s library and journals. It’s easily accessible when she’s in her recliner. Do remember to slide the bench up against the wall or it will push against the island when you retract the slide out. Folding leg and wall attachment both on Amazon. I’ve kept the old table for resale.
Sorry about the rotate issue

That made some nice room for an air mattress! The table turned out looking pretty good. I think it looks nicer than the plywood would have.
