    OUCH
That is going to take a bit of buffing work. You might want to consider some 200MPH duct tape. Are you in a private camp ground? If so their insurance might cover. Dead tree should have been removed.

At least your safe. Best wished on the repairs.

BTW seal it as best you can to prevent water getting in the side wall. Otherwise it can be a bigger job if its starts to de-laminate.

Any idea how this is fixed? I’m trying ti wrap my head around it. Water has already leaked into the wall material.

Do you have outside and roof pictures with the tree removed? From what I see roof damage, including possibly a truss. If truss it $$$. Wall structural frame involved welding aluminum and the the fiberglass repair including painting. Wall has definitely buckled and aluminum frame broken too. Interior is going to be tough too as inside is bonded to outside. With water damage they may have to replace the entire sidewall. If that the case it is could be a total write off. Only GD can do the wall replacement.

Hopefully you have insurance - you need to find a competent adjuster that knows RV's. Your GD dealer should be able to make a good call too.

Sorry about the news. Hopefully someone else will come along that knows more. Bottom line I don't think it will be an easy fix.

BTW did the side wall bow under where the tree hit, and was their damage at the bottom where the wall joins the frame, Do the cargo doors and windows still work?

On edit - is there any damage to the street side wall. If the truss whas hit it could have moved sideways. there may be a bulge there if it did.

Yep - broken welds are not good.

Yep, that hurts. Completely rebuildable. I saw SOOOO much worse being rebuilt at the Factory Service Center. You'll get a whole new wall.

So my trailer would be sent back to Grand Design to be fixed properly. My biggest concern is someone other GD trying to fix it.

It's always YOUR choice who does the repair, and nearly always are laminated construction sent back to the manufacturer when structure has been damaged.
