Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Solitude!

Those King Ranch are sure nice, but all that bling can eat into the truck's payload. I'm pretty sure that you'll be over on the trucks GVWR but welcome to that club and it's not very exclusive! Most would consider the truck's GRAWR (6100 lbs?) and tire load ratings as the more realistic limit for towing. You have it now so the first chore when the camper's loaded may be to head to a CAT scale on get the real numbers and decide what action if any, is required.

Welcome to the forum Gerry and Lydia and congratulations on your new 325X! I agree with Dave, one of the first things to do after loading the camper and truck is to get it weighed. On our very first trip I found that I had to much weight in the front of our camper by a little over a hundred pounds. After readjusting and getting rid of unnecessary "stuff", our payload weight for the truck is fine.

Let us know how your shakedown trip goes and take plenty of pictures.

Steve, I like how you quoted “Stuff” LOL. My wife is like Lucy in the movie “The Long Long Trailer”. Knowing she has a tendency to not keep weight in mind as she decorates/customizes our 305RE I just took a big swallow and bought a truck that was a bit of over kill. Happy wife-happy life and besides---I love how the 350 DRW tows that unit.

I guarantee you'll be over the trucks payload rating. Pickuptrucks.com did a test of a KR F250 like yours and it only had 1972lbs for payload. The dry pin weight per GD is 2490lbs. You'll be close to 3000lbs on the rear axle loaded. Low payloads are common with 3/4 ton diesels.

Check your tire load range and inflation. Many Trucks come with load range d tires

It is often the large diameter wheels and low profile tires on the "high style" trucks that limits payload . . . Check the label on the drivers door . . .

Actually the 20" tires have 3750lb ratings and the 18" are 3415lbs. The issue is the 10,000GVW and the trucks weight of 8000lbs+. Of course one can just use the RAWR and get buy. But that's a decision the OP would have to make.
