Not Looking Good
Hello Everyone
The picture that you will see is from my New in February 2020 Reflection 300 Rbts it looks the same now as after I got it home.
I can see that this will be a problem down the road as I was a Automotive mechanic for 30 years. My plan is to relocate all the wiring inside the storage compartment
and put in a proper box what are all your thoughts on that and has anyone done this. GD also must have run out of paint because it has surface rust which I will sand and repaint.
Thanks everyone.

I always wondered what the logic was for RV builders to do that. And now GD is no exception. For sure I'd be putting that in a water tight box.

You don't need to relocate it. You can buy an RV splice box that has a cover and tight seal. Bargman and Pollack make them. Bed them in dielectric silicone versus the oil based junk you and I know is a waste of time as it flows away in the heat of summer. I did this will several of my old TTs as this is common construction, unfortunately.
Are you traveling salted/brined roads or staying oceanside regularly?
You can thank Lippert for those lowest quality coating imaginable on the frame. I know exactly the product they use as it is made by a supplier of mine and its solids content is laughable. Nearly as laughable as the prep work before coating application!Last edited by geotex1; 11-17-2020 at 03:15 PM.

No salt roads or ocean side. The dealer it came from is in Kelowna BC Canada and that is desert type place. I might do as you are saying clean all the connections and put is a box in same location. If I do that then I know any electrical problems down the road won't
inside the box and yes I agree on the dielectric which I have. Thanks for your input.
