    Eternal bond tape for roof

I just watched a YouTube video of a guy who used eternal bond tape around his edging & around all his vents. Basically used it over everything that had lap sealant.

Has anyone ever done this? Any cons to think of before I take on the task?

    Thanks

Eternabond. What you watched is not new by any means. I actually did this many years ago on our HTT. It is an expensive way to go versus lap sealant. The cons are you need to THOROUGHLY clean and prep for proper adhesion, and if you ever need to replace a skylight, vent, etc. be prepared for a lot of elbow grease to remove it.
