    Thermostats control

Has anyone here figured out if there is a thermostat controller that works like one in a house but for an RV. For example I would like to set it so that the AC will turn on when it gets to a warm temperature automatically and when it gets to a cool temperature it would automatically turn on the heat like in a stick some brick thermostat.

What model A/C unit? I believe the newer units don't work off the standard W,R,Y,G as a sticks a bricks, but it instead is a communication link.

If you want to do a search here I remember a fellow was pretty clever wiring a programmable house thermostat that overrode the RV thermostat in his trailer. If I recall right it was about 2 years ago before I bought my trailer.

I remembered the thermostat in my previous Flagstaff trailer and did a search. Here is a link to it: https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/...wdisplay_69845
Now that I look at it certainly isn't as fussy requiring a scroll through the settings each time I want heat or cooling. Just set a temperature, fan speed and with the season, heat or cool.
