Extended Warranty & Paint Protection Question

Hello,
New GD 337 RLS 2021 almost the owner here. Is it worth getting the extended warrantee for 2600+ dollars and is the paint protection worth it (1495.00)? They're charging 185.00/year for our annual well baby check up. The finance guy was not helpful..

Paint protection can be done by an auto detailer who will come to your house for about a third or half of what the dealership wants. If you look for places near you they can give you a quote that will vary depending on how long the protection is supposed to last (anywhere from 2 to 10 years). It's really just another large profit item they want to sell and I've always doubted if they actually do it or the quality of the product they use.
