You are correct. I don't check them often enough. While I have to add water each time they never get dry enough for the tops of the cells to be exposed. But, alas, as I enter my winter severe cold weather travel season I find my batteries only getting 11.7V. Sometimes 12.2V when it warms up and the tank heaters turn off. I have noticed my level up running slow also, I don't think my RV is happy with this 18f weather.
