Just bought our FIRST RV!

Hi everyone,
We are Jenny and Jason Wilson and we just recently purchased our 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2910BH. We purchased it last weekend and haven’t even hitched it up yet and brought it home. 😊 We are still so excited to bring it home and have it here to “test” out for Christmas.

We live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon and cannot wait to explore all the great seasons and parks we have around us. We’re dreaming of taking it to the mountains soon and lots of trips to the Oregon coast and the many lakes around the area.

Jason is a First Srgt. in the Army National Guard (only 6ish more years before retirement). He did 4ish years of active service with a deployment to Iraq before he decided to join the NG and met me! He also is a foreman for a local commercial construction company. He’s our Mr. Fix It which will be great for minor repairs and upgrades that will no doubt happen along the way.

I am a certified dental assistant but was unemployed because of the pandemic and chose to not go back and be home with our two boys (2 and 6). Which has been a wonderful blessing! Needless to say they are very much boys and desire adventure in everything they do.

The pandemic may have changed a few things but we are really excited for the opportunities this trailer will open for us!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Suggestions for places to stay with full hookups the first year and advice for camping in the winter. We have friends who have RVs and plan on going with them too but we also would like to take our own adventures. We’re happy to be apart of this community.
