    Makes perfect sense to me!

I've heard others talk about the Ford chime. Even saw a YouTube video on how to turn it off.

FYI the difference between MSRP and invoice on my loaded 2020 F450 Platinum was exactly $ 4613. If your dealer came off 4K that really wasn't a bad deal. $ 600 profit or less on a almost 90K vehicle is reasonable.

Im in Canada and my dealer came down $18K off MSRP on a 2018 Cummins 3500. (Ordered it in 2018) Must be a lot more playing room for the dealers with Dodge? I'm sure they all aim for similar profit margins?

The rebates are where you usually see the big discount off MSRP, not sure what Ram does rebate wise on their heavy duties but Ford never has big rebates on them. Mine had a measly $ 500 plus another 500 D plan rebate. Now the F150's are a different story, 5-6K rebates are fairly common, hence the bigger "discount" off sticker.

To the OP question, I picked my truck because:
    • The Laramie trim was very comfortable us. If you are going to spend hours in the saddle comfort is a safety issue.
    • The mega cab gives tons of room in the back. Traveling with our Corgi means putting a small collapsable kennel back there to keep her contained.
    • The factory air system is all I need. One button to push and it is level. When not towing, it rides fairly well for a 1 ton dually.
