It is the 18' garage and it is a 997.1 c4s. Had it on the track at BIR to weekends ago.... What a Blast! I am a little overweight if I carry some water, but I replaced the 7k axles with 8k and disc brakes; changed the 16" tires to 17.5's. I also added an additional c-channel under the flooring directly under the wheels and added 2 additional truss supports and a 3x1x1/8 tube cross support to strengthen the floor.

Wow, we've been wondering about that. How does it haul with the Fiat??? We were looking at the SmartCar, but if a Fiat fits. Mind you, we have a 327M, so we may not have the length, but this proves the ramp door can support it.

Devin, if that was for me, our Fiat is exactly 12ft. long. (Abarth version, regulars might be an inch shorter) it tows fine but found I needed shocks on the trailer because the bounce after a bump would keep going. Hence the joyrider shocks.

On the ramp, I have to use 2x12 boards as ramps because the approach angle is too steep and also the car would high center at the top so the boards extend out further and lessen the angles as well as help spread the weight on the door. I lay the board ramps in place then block the ramp door up to the bottom of the boards. All in all, it works fine.

Cool! Changes approach angle and weight stress on ramp. Unfortunately, our little 327M only has 10' of garage length, so we're going to have to stick with the motorcycle or maybe consider a Smartcar.

Resurrecting this thread once again ..

My latest installation is my Ducati racebike with toolbox and BoltItOn rack. The rack is full width and I'm going to fill the garage with either roadrace bikes, dirt bikes, or bicycles depending on the intended activity!

I have been packing around my 2013 Victory Cross Country Tour around for the 4 years that we have owned either our 2016 380TH Momentum or the 2018 374TH-R Solitude. The Victory has been a lot of places in the western USA. It has almost 72,000 miles.
Before purchasing the Victory, I had a 2005 Firefighter Special Road King. My brother had one of the best aftermarket Harley race shops in the Western United States, so the Road King was beefed up quite a bit. I sold the Harley to a friend in 2013. He told me he was going to sell it and had only put 3 or 4000 miles on it. I decided to buy it back.
So; it's at my house now. It hasn't been in the Solitude yet, but it will fit better then the Victory. The Victory is about 2" too long.

This is an old picture of the Road King. I am packed up and leaving on a Coast to Coast trip for 3 weeks by myself. Meeting my wife in Michigan for a family reunion and also meeting some Navy buddies in Jersey and Kentucky. The Road King has been to Alaska with me and my wife also. KEN
