    351M actual length?

Does anyone know what the actual length of the 351M is? I have seen people state anywhere from 40'2" up to 42'.

Also, has anyone actually weighed theirs ready to camp? If so, what are the pin/axle weights?

It is listed by Grand Design as 38 feet 6 inches.
    Hope this helps.

If you read GD website, that is from the hitch to the rear. I measured my 320G and it actually measures a little over 38' but is listed as 36' and some inches.

42' from the front point on the cap the rear. Most of the stated lengths of many of the 5ers is from the pin box to the rear which does not include anything hanging forward of pin. I used to have a 40' shop building until I bought my 351M... Now I have a 50' shop building where it gets stored.

I've not measured our 2021 351MR but I put in on the scales last trip. I had 1400lbs in the garage. 3/4 tank of gas in generator. No gas in other tank. Both fresh water tanks empty. Both black and gray tanks empty. Closet was full of clothes for two people for a week. Fridge and cupboard were at best 1/2 full. To my surprise I was a little over gross at 17,200lbs. My axles were 7020 and 7040 and pin was little over 3000lbs. I'm going to try another scale next trip. According to my dry weight from factory I should have been under gross with room to spare.

Forgot to post weights; no water, my fuel tanks full, 600lbs of our stuff. I am light on my pin weight so I guess I need to find stuff to move to the front. Others have pin's just over 3k. When Im loaded with my motorcycle and riding gear, the trailer axles are about 900lbs shy of max weight and the total trailer weight is about 900lbs shy of GVWR. Adding freshwater takes away even more weight from the left over numbers. You lose about 100lbs of pin weight for every 1000lbs loaded into the garage depending on trailer. By the way, I need to re-weigh as I have removed the overhead bed in the garage and added disc brakes.

    Axle 11,800 13,100

So glad I saw this post! Love the 351M floorplan, but our garage measures just under 40'... I guess it's time to look at the 320G's instead.

I wish more people would post weights.
We just ordered the 2022 351MS. Upgraded the axles to the 8k axles to get a 18000# GVW. And hopefully the ability to load the rear and lighten up the pin weight.

Also, it would be interesting to hear what trucks people are pulling their 351M's with, and why.
