GF bought the vinyl recliners sectionals and it's peeling like bonded leather after 2 years. Also doesn't breathe so a towel required behind my back.

    Thomas PITA furniture.
Try any local better quality home furniture store.
Pretty much you get what you pay for in furniture.
$1000 for a recliner is a good start.
$1500 for a theater seat is a good start.

    Recliner Fabric Issues

Hi, has anyone gone the reupholstered route? We have one recliner out of our entire set that has started separating. Other pieces are in great condition. I really thought I had bought better quality in Grand Design.

This thread brings up a couple great solution for when my TP furniture begins to fail. I like the theater seating but I'd prefer non leather/vinyl so reupholster with fabric would be the way to go. My Alpenlite had two fabric recliners that were very comfortable because the fabric could actually breathe.

Had read articles about Thomas Payne and ordered covers for furniture to help delay problem or maybe just hide it for those that already have the problem. Covers work very good, been using for almost year now.
Hope this may help some of you with solution.

Does the cover go over the entire chair or couch and fit well? This looks like a good option to replacing.

They all use the same components. So, hard to believe the quality of the individual pieces would be any better than the next brand.

At least they leave the Thomas Payne plastic covers on the footrest. Definitely know you're buying TP.

I’m reading your post regarding your purchase of RecPro RV furniture. I’m considering the purchase and was wondering how it holding up? Do you have any pics of the furniture that you would be willing to share? My Thomas Payne has got to go.

    Thanks in advance!
