    Bike Racks

I enjoy riding my bike and would like to find a easy / good way to transport it. Any recommendations on bike racks for Reflection 303? Any thoughts on ladder bike rack mounts? Has anyone mounted a bike to the bummer / sewer pipe tube?

    Hi Angela

I have heard a lot of stories about the ladder coming loose with use of a bike rack. (Not on GDRV models though.)

If I remember correctly, GDRV says the max weight using the bumper is 100 lbs and the max weight using the frame mounted tow bar they switched to for the 2015 models (no bumper) is 300 lbs.
There are several previous threads on bicycle racks. You can find those using the search function. Most of those threads included advice from GDRV customer service at some point.

I had a bolt-on 2" receiver (from etrailer.com) from our previous TT which I moved over to the 337, mounted to the square rear bumper/hose carrier. Got the 2-bike rack from Amazon.

So far, so good. A bit of jiggling due to "slop" where the mount inserts into the receiver, but no problems.

I have a similar set-up which I made but I added locking bolts vertically and horizontally to securely lock the bike rack to the hitch...no shaking now.

We have the bolt on 2" receiver also (tube bumper). Came with the Swagman 2 bike rack, which has bolts to eliminate the wiggle, works awesome. With two heavy beach cruiser bikes on there I know I'm a little over the hundred pound limit, very nervous, but so far no issues (11 months). Have a friend that is supposed to beef up my rear bumper, sometime...hopefully before it's too late.

We have a swagman 2 bike carrier but we had to add a receiver extension so the handlebar would clear the back of the RV. We do not have a tube type bumper on ours.

Do you have one of the newer builds that doesn't have a rear bumper...I recall seeing that the end of the receiver hardly extended past the rear wall.
