Full timers...would like a “bonus room” for sewing and quilting. Had great hopes for the 2021 378MBS-R (redesigned 377-no more loft), but am dismayed by the kitchen. Almost no counter space on either side of stove, and left-most cabinet door above hutch only opens partway due to slide woodwork.

If you have this model, could you please share your experiences with the kitchen? I’d really like to like it, but am so unsure about trying to cook in such a confined space.

We are ordering the same unit in a few months. We have the same concern about the lack of space with stove. Like being in a cave. We also hate losing the loft for storage but the Pro's outweigh our Con's.

We have a ‘21 377mbs with the mid sewing/quilting room and love it. We use the island for counter space. It was much more important for the DW to have her space than to have more counter space.
