tire binding
love the stability the wide spacing of the double axel on the 21bhe provides but when executing a tight turn in cul de sac, I swear the tires were going to pull off the rims as they pivoted in the turn. i am used to a single axel. just looking for confirmation the rig can handle this type of turn on occasion.

I'm not a tire expert but think this is normal on a tight turn. If you can soften it with a couple moves it would probably be better for the tires though.
I cringe when I see how the tires contort in a tight tun on our 5er, so far not 1 tire has rolled off!

It's called "scrubbing" and is very common on multiple-axle trailers during tight turns. As Marcy mentioned, finding ways to make the turns not so tight will reduce the stress and wear on the tires. Be sure to always maintain the inflation pressure to what's posted on the sticker on the side of the trailer.

I would think that would be a good reason for getting ST tires due to the strength of the sidewalls on the ST tires.

I also hear loud pop / clicks coming from the wheel area. Anybody else have this?

Yep, every tandem axle trailer I've ever pulled has creaked and popped on sharp turns.

Okay, that all sounds good, but do not turn any sharper than you have to.
I made one sharp turn and bent the rear axles out of alignment.
The spring shackles bent.
The wider the spacing between the axles, the worse the problem.
Be careful.
It cost me three months down time and over $1000 to get it fixed.
Warranty Forever refused to touch it, as the hangers are not considered part of the axle assembly.
Large-radius turns, higher tire pressures and stiffer sidewalls will help, but be careful - those axles are soft!
My rig is in the shop for a second time, due to the axles moving.
This time, bouncing up and down on the highways out West bent the ends of the axles into a negative camber so badly, I burned up two sets of tires trying to get home.
Gently, gently!
