Santa Fe vs Albuquerque? where to camp? What to see.
We are hikers and want to go the the national monuments on the Santa Fe-Albuq area. Suggestions on where to camp would be appreciated...and tips of what to see.
Thanks! Going in May

We enjoyed Santa Fe Skies RV resort when we decided to try our luck at winter camping and skiing at Ski Santa Fe. It seemed to be a good location because it was easy drive into ABQ for their stuff, bypass for getting to the hiking and MX stuff on the NW side of Santa Fe.

Hyde Memorial park is just outside Santa Fe. Its isolated in a canyon north of town and a nice quiet spot to camp and venture from,
