    I’ve seen nearly “zero-clearance” plugs, where the cord comes out the side of the plug, at about a 45-degree angle. That would let the cord hang flush to the wall of the trailer. Might that be an option?

    This would work, except... these outlets (we have one on our Solitude 310) have a hinged, flip-up cover that's over the entire two-outlet receptacle that has to be raised to plug anything in. It would defeat the purpose of a low-profile plug.
