Westlake Tiress Are China Bombs - Get Goodyear Endurance made in USA

Have 2018 Imagine, Westlake tires mfg week 42 of 2017. Had one blow and lucky it only destroyed finder skirt. Get rid of those Westlake China bombs are you will regret it. No comparison between the quality of them and Goodyear Endurance. Don't even use them for a spare.

I just returned home from a local tire shop; I asked about GY Endurance tires while I was there. The manager agreed that its the right move to change tires and recommend the Endurance or Carlise tires. He owns a TT and runs the Carlise. He feels either is a solid choice.

What size did you replace with on the Imagine?

I’m in process of ordering a 2670mk, I just happen to be at tire shop having a tire repaired on my truck. We are changing tires right away after delivery. Believe tires size will be 225/75x15.

We have an Imagine and we had the
Dealer install Goodyear Endurance.
I also upgraded from "D" to "E" load.

Not making excuses about the Westlake tires but seems like you got 3 years out of them and manufacturers recommend changing out trailer tires in 3 - 5 years. My Westlakes were made in 2017 as well and I plan to change them this spring when they are about 4 years old or so. There are definetly better tires than the Westlake E rated tires.

Did you do any changes to the springs on your Imagine before going to the bigger tire?

Carlisle tires, I think are also made in China. Working in manufacturing many years and dealing with parts coming from around world, I can tell you USA made products the quality is better. From countries like China you may get in one good batch of parts from same China mfg but the next batch might be bad. You spend more time chasing after bad parts from China and countries like India than you ever do with USA mfg parts.
