Would it even add up to a couple of hundred dollars? Doubtful

It is a supply issue. Mine had stuff missing as well but I prefer it in my driveway than still sitting waiting for insignificant items

I was mainly referring to the OPs comment regarding quality and customer service. Obviously all brands are having supply issues and there is little that can be done to address that from the RV manufacturer.

i get it that is probably only a couple hundred bucks but its the pricinpal. if it was the other way around and they installed higher quality items guess who would be paying for it.

It was only for a short time while Coleman units were unavailable. Output on the Furrion is "supposed" to equal the 15k Coleman. Side bonus is they have a dehumidifier feature.

No one complained when they added the Compass Connect system to Imagines. No one will ever complain about added features, but take something away....

Now that would really cool! Dealing with a 30-pint dehumidifier in the rig is inconvenient - and it takes up space.

Just like a bag of chips. You get the same size bag with fewer chips in it and it costs more.

Something to think about is that with every new item added the profit goes up. RV manufactures are making a killing.

That is one thing we like with our vintage 303, the Atwood AC has the dehumidifier. I would miss that feature if we lost it

I’m sceptical about the “side bonus aspect” of the dehumidifier feature. All A/C units dehumidify when operating in humid conditions. That’s why they all have condensate drains.

There are exceptions, such as in the desert, where there is litlle if any moisture to actually remove.
