Any other people that have layed eternabond or similar tape to a brand new trailer just for added protection?

I did it on the front and rear caps. Just make sure to clean the surface well and get a roller to roll over it after you've laid it down.

I did it on my 2007 Rockwood. I have not done it to my Reflection. Not sure it really helped on my Rockwood as I had water damage at the rear and at the front.

I have not done it on my Reflection but I do keep a roll in the 5th wheel for when I need it

I believe eternabond is more for emergency use or when a tear occurs. I just keep a close eye on the roof and add/replace dicor when needed.

Look at the ends of the slide on the roof. GD uses Eternabond to seal off the edge and cover all the screws. At least that's how it was on all of my slides on my Momentum.

I usually Eternabond the front and back caps. So far I have only done the sides tho. And I taped all the outer ends of the slide tops as GD's cheap tape was wearing thin and open in a few places. Here is a post I have on that.

Check the type of roofing that is on your unit. Per GD and Alpha (the manufacturer of the TPO roof that is on ours), Dicor is not recommended on our TPO. Alpha sells specific products that will not potentially void the warranty. They come in a non-sag and a self-leveling version.

I am thinking about cleaning around the bathroom skylight and applying some 4" wide Eternabond . I don't like what I'm seeing. It's sealed, but it's an indentation area and water pools. I live on the "wet side" of the Oregon Cascades in Oregon. KEN
