    Adding a step

We have a 2021 320 MKS and my wife thinks the stairs inside are a bit steep so has suggested I change from three steps to four steps going to the bedroom. Anyone who has done it already that could share pictures and process, your help is appreciated.

I guess I have my winter project note [emoji16]

We are having the GlowRide steps installed by the dealer on our 320MKS. We will be picking it up on 10JAN2021. I can provide pictures then.

After doing a boat ton of research, I decided to go with the GlowRide steps instead of the foldout OEM steps. Here is the link (all the videos I watched were on the TorLift website!):

They seem easy enough to install. I just had the dealer do it since they were replacing the pin box with the MorRyde one, and installing the washer and dryer. Figured, "why not."

We went with the glow steps also. Love them. I actually miss wrote my question. I am looking to take the inside steps and convert them from three to four lowering the rise between them. Will need to edit the original question.

We too have the Glowsteps and really like them. The OP's question though was about the steps inside going up to the bedroom.

Try Googling adding a inside stair on my RV. You should see a lot of threads on it. Even you tube video's to help guide you.

    Gary had a good suggestion.

While we all like out GlowSteps, the OP wants to add a step INSIDE.

It seems an additional inside step might protrude into the entrance door area. I think it would on mine. And adding at the upper end might intrude into the bathroom door entrance. I think Kevin has his work cut out for him.

Yes it might be a challenge but, using the existing step as a template there is almost 2 inches of room at the bottom and another inch at the top so I can make each step effectively two inches narrower which with the bore built in still makes the step 10 inches wide and drops the ride from 8.5 to 6.5.

Did a quick draw out and the other half thinks it is worth a try so wish me luck [emoji16][emoji106]

God luck. I figured you could make the run a bit shorter and fit a step in. Just gotta hope the step doesn't get too narrow. I thought about suggesting a ramp but figured that would be even worse with a steep angle. Let us know how it works out. Take photos - my steps squeak and I haven't seen an easy way to pull up the tread and remount.
