7 weeks out from surgery, I finally have a knee that operates close enough to normal to get back on some projects. The main one being the inverter/charger and 300ah Chins lithium battery I've had for a few months. I'm using the little bit of space under the bed for the battery and the lower part of the closet in the master for the rest of the equipment. Today was battery compartment day. First order of business was to at least somewhat deal with the rats nest of wiring behind the Nautilus panel. After that I secured the entire lower bed structure with lots of 2 1/2" deck screws as the staples just aren't going to cut it for me. I ripped some 2x4's in have and used that for structure to hold the battery. Decided I'd make a removeable rear wall to give some measure of separation from the plumbing just in case there was a leak that might be spraying water on the battery. A grove in the 2x2's to allow a piece of ATP to slide in worked well. I can just slide it out if/when I have to deal with any issues on the Nautilus. Pretty happy with how it came out. Also got the backer boards for the inverter and Lynx distributor sprayed with bed liner and began that install. Long way to go but it feels good to b4e well enough to get back on the project.

Continuing on the inverter project toady. Got the electronic components installed in the lower part of the bedroom cabinet. Kind of a wasted space so wanted to use it but what a pain it is to work in that little space. Still a ways to go but made some pretty good progress today. Got all the 12 volt side done except a few more wires to hook up under the trailer. Pouring rain here today is not very conducive to working outside. The inverter and the power in are mounted on 3/4" oak plywood that I sprayed with truck bed liner. Those panels are attached to the floor of the cabinet and to the backer for the drawer slides with some ATP on top and bottom that I cut and formed. I modded the power in to hold meqa fuses. Ran the 2/0 cables thru the generator compartment and up thru the floor to the equipment. Got the fuse holder installed on the battery. So far so good. I'll post again when it's finished.

Hi Terry, just want to confirm the hand rail you installed. It looks like a Stromberg Carlson AM-533 Lend-A-Hand Extended Assist Rail (402.1242). Is that correct?

It also appeared to bolt right up (I mean at least cover the old mounting holes so no patching was required).

    Cheers

I noticed you hadn't installed any Maxx Air Vent covers. I love these on my current trailer and was planning on adding them to the 25G. Just wanted to check if you had looked into these and ran into any issues?

Hi all. For those that did the skylight shade did you have to apply any sealant to the screws? Also, were you able to use the existing holes for the skylight or did you have to drill new ones? Thanx in advance!
