RAM stock 5th wheel?

I have searched the forum and didn't see an answer, though I may have mislooked it so I'm sorry.

Will the 2021 3500 30k 5th wheel hitch by mopar be compatible with the 2021 Grand Design Reflection 28bh? Both dealers were not helpful. We are looking at that hitch but also the anderson isr hitch.

It certainly shouldnt be. It’s a conventional pin box on your trailer it should be a non-issue.

Our used 2016 Ram 3500 DRW came with a 25K factory 5th wheel hitch. It's a Curt 25K. We had a 20K Curt in our 2002 Ford, so it was an easy move forward. KEN

I have the 5th wheel package and an Andersen which works great.

Yes the hitch should work. It's just a Curt hitch as far as I know. I have a Curt Q25 in my truck.

I think some of the confusion is the result of the differences in pin boxes between the Reflection 150 Series (Turning Point pin box) and the non-150 Series Reflections (standard Lippert 1621 pin box). The Turning Point pin box is not compatible with the Andersen Ultimate or or PullRite Ultralite hitches unless the Turning Point is locked (defeating the purpose of the pin box). On a conventional fifth wheel hitch, the Turning Point requires a capture plate for the specific hitch to use the Turning Point functionality. The standard Lippert 1621 pin box on the non-150 Series Reflections is compatible with both conventional hitches and the AUH/PulRite Ultralite.
