Generator install
I have typed in several search requests but obviously not typing in the correct key words because I am not getting the answers I need...
Have a 369RL 5th wheel. It is pre-plumed for genny (Holes outlined but not cut out). I am looking to buy a used 10k diesel and need to install a fuel tank.
I am wondering where the fuel tank is supposed to be located? I have the barrier panels underneath, so I can't just crawl under and take a look without dropping that thing. So I was hoping someone else has already done this. I have two grey water tanks, black water tank and the fresh water tank under there already, so I am thinking its going to be a tight fit down there. I know I do not want to put it under the generator as it will really increase the pin weight.
Also, any recommendations on used generator website, RV salvage sites, etc?
thanks
Alan

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Solitudes with generators use the propane version. I guess you'd have to get creative with diesel. Our Momentum had a gas generator and the tank was almost all the way aft under the camper supported by rails welded to the frame.

I have two 7 gallon tanks and use about one tank every 4 days running the furnace and very light cooking and fridge. I cant imagine them lasting very long at all with a genny, thats why I am considering the diesel.
