    Had to contact customer service 1st thoughts

    Well I just purchased my 2021 Imagine 2400bh at the end of November and already had to call Grand Design
    It was missing the motion lights and coil hose for the spray port
    My previous trailer was a Jayco and the only issue I had to call Jayco about was the bathroom fan quitting.
    I found out calling Jayco for this is a time consuming event. A lot of automation. I believe a good estimate for total phone calls was over an hour

    Well I contacted Grand Design this AM which actually I believe it was before 8 in Indiana and BAM a human

    Asked for information vin,name,dealer. Discussed issue. He confirmed build sheet saying 3 motion lights. Asked if mine had the curb side spray port(now discontinued) and it does so he said it should have the spray hose as well

    Total phone call time less than 10 minutes
    Parts should arrive inside of 2 weeks and if not to call him back

    I consider that to be beyond excellent customer service. Amazing actually

    Never have I ever contacted any company and had an issue resolved so quickly

    Well. Not to keep saying how amazing GD customer service is but the package arrived this morning

    6 days from start to finish including delivery to Canada
    I don’t even know what to say

    Sorry I can’t say the same thing for my recent experience. I called last week regarding a few items to fix under warranty. On hold for 45 minutes before I decided to leave my number for a call back. Received a call several hours later, but couldn’t get to the phone on time. Thought they’d leave a message or call back, but no. I then sent an e-mail, and it’s going on a week with no reply. Just looking for an opportunity where I may have an hour or so to be on hold so I can hopefully talk to someone.

    Wow. I have no idea
    I called at just before 9 am my time making it before 8 am in Indiana
    Maybe I was the first call but I was answered immediately by a human and the same person helped me completely in minutes
    Maybe try that time

    I have always called early in the morning like @NB Canada did and always got a person to talk to and very helpful at that. I will say though that I have been lucky enough not to have had to call since the early fall when COVID was not as bad as it is now.

    My call was not early in the morning. It was midday and right after the holiday weekend. Hoping that’s what it was. I’ll try calling tomorrow at 7 am my time, 8 theirs. Thanks for the tip.
