Rockwell American axle
I know once one brand becomes the de rigor there is little to incite others to look further. Yesterday I found the local distriibutorship / manufacturing facility near by for Rockwell American axles. My interest was to find 2" wide springs to replace the 1-3/4" installed now. A trip this morning convinced me I need to at least think further. They had torsion axles in stock that would fit maybe with a bit of fabrication and a bolt up install. The 6000# rated axle would be a good fit. My last Flagstaff had torsion axles and it did ride / pull nicely. I could also option disc brakes for them if I chose. The cost is not outrageous either.

Interesting. Would you be welding in the side mount brackets?

My boat trailer has a torsion axle, and I used to have an equipment trailer with torsion axles. Liked them both very much.
