    anyone heard of transeagle tires?

i guess i can't upgrade my reflection 297rsts with 16" rims because of clearance issues. but i want to have g-rated tires. goodyear nor sailun produce 15" g-rated tires, but i found that a company produces a "transeagle" 15" g-rated tire. does anyone have any experience with this product?

    thanks

Can't is a really big word. I hate that word. What is the clearance issue? I managed to get 16s on a TT that originally had 14s... I had to do some things to make it work, but it did. And it was totally worth it. That was in 2006. No tire issues from then on.
I don't know anything about those tires.. But I "think" getting 15" rims that are rated for a high enough air pressure for Gs might be a problem

My 2018 297RSTS has 16" tires on it from the factory but there was a recall on it before I picked it up due to possible clearance issue to one of the slideout rams so GS had to put the Dexter 2" lift kit on the trailer to provide sufficient clearance so it can be done.

thanks for the response, rob. yea, i knew i could lift it, but that's more moolah. 16" rims would be more moolah. i'm trying to get a safer tire in a 15" flavor that's g-rated. yup, i want my cake and i wanna eat it too. hopefully, someone has heard of this transeagle tire.

Why do you think you need load range G tires on a trailer with a GVWR of only 9,995 lbs? The Goodyear Endurance tires in load range E would be fine.

i spose.....as an ex-engineer, i wanted more than a 10% margin. anyway, i'm gonna replace the tires, and i thought if there was a g-rated alternative for about the same price, why not?
