Okay so it looks like I need these on my rig:

    1. Victron BMV-712
    2. Schneider Inverter (but there are dozens to choose from?)

Since my truck apparently can't fully charge the battery while driving, I can at least (if I'm dry camping) use my Generator to get it fully charged.
Will my Lithium Battery have a negative effect on the charging system of my F-150 while I'm driving?
Could it pull more power from the truck that would effect the truck battery?

    More questions.............good grief.

Yes, you can use your generator to charge the LiFePo batteries, as long as you have a LiFePo compatible inverter/charger. You would plug the entire coach into the generator, via the shore power cable.

No, negative effect on the truck charging system.

No. The charging line from the 7-way plug on a newer Ford only puts out something like 13.5VDC at maybe 2 amps.

Keep the questions coming! That's the only way you'll learn.

Dont forget the lithium charger, the PD9160 from Progressive Dynamics is a great choice, but there are other options. Also, check the wiring size for your existing converter, I decided mine were too small and decided to upgrade them, it's really based on how long the wire is, just look up wire charts and you can determine what you need. I also wasnt satisfied with how GD ran the wires and wanted to do it differently.

Sorry! The Schneider one was for solar! Here is a link to the Progressive Dynamics one for LiFePO batteries: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DP3X16F..._2od.Fb0YEBYMJ

Okay now my WIFE has a question.
Will we be able now (when dry camping) to use the Lithium Inverter power system to watch television?
I know it sounds crazy since with the old Acid Battery we couldn't, but sounds like we can with the new Lithium AC power it will supply.
Would ALL the AC outlets in the rig have access to the Lithium power?

It depends how you wire the inverter. Some will power the whole leg of power, others require a sub-panel with designated loads. Also, depends what AC components you want to run and how big your battery bank is. Short answer, yes, you can watch TV.

The depends. Is it a 30 amp or 50 amp coach?

In either case, you will need a bigger inverter and at least 2 LiFePO batteries. You really would need to do a power assessment on your use.

The Power Dynamics one we pointed out is good enough to charge your LiFePO battery and run all the 12vdc stuff (lights, etc.).

Now, if it's a 30 amp coach, all the outlets are run through the power converter, since 30 amp has only 1 leg of power.

If it's a 50 amp coach, now it gets tricky as a 50 amp receptacle provides 110vac to each leg, and each leg powers half of the coach. Now you are getting into rewiring a portion of the coach.

The easiest way to run just the TV, and no other 110vac stuff, is to buy a 12vdc to 110vac inverter and wire it off the battery, with wire that is sufficient to carry the amperage the inverter could possibly pull. (If you want, I can get technical on that.) Put the inverter near the TV and there you go. One caveat to this... You will have to run the appropriately sized 12vdc wires to the TV location and mount the inverter near the TV. Or, as a friend of mine did, run an extension cord from the bay where the batteries and inverter are to the TV. It looks ugly, but it worked.
