Consolidating 3 pet peeves and how to fix them.

OK, follow along as we go down this path. 1) we've got many, many people upset that the hallway light switch is behind the control panel door. 2) There are also owners that don't like that the outside LED's under the bedroom slide, the switch is only accessible by opening up the basement. 3) The switch for the island pendant lights is over by the door with the ceiling lights. If you're standing at the sink with wet hands you shouldn't have to walk around the island to turn on the lights. My personal pet peeve.
My idea - move the island pendant light switch to the underside where the stove and pantry light switches are. This is currently a double switch plate, can be made into a triple.
The open switch where the pendant lights was located, now can be for the hallway light.
The open switch inside the panel, now can be for the under bedroom slide LED's.
This makes sense all the way around. This is how the 369RL is set up, I can't speak to the other models.
    Just my 2 cents worth.
    Discussion please.

Nice Job, TNF! These are three very minor changes that would make every day life in the 369 even better. Just a little closer to perfection.

    Does this require re-wiring?

Great suggestions! The location of the hallway switch really needs to be placed outside of the control panel.

It would require re routing existing wires to different locations.

Dennis; this would all be done during the build. We wouldn't benefit, but the next generation of buyers would have the changes.
