Max air covers

I read on another thread someone was installing maxair covers on their 2021 imagine

When I picked mine up at the end of November and climbed on the roof I was pleasantly surprised to see 3 maxair covers there
I didn’t think they were standard equipment but now seeing that other thread I am wondering if this is a pleasant addition

They may have been a standard add on by the dealer - I was surprised by my dealer in Sudbury Ontario - they were also on when i picked it up. #Bonus

I think what @RVOntario meant was that the dealer ordered the trailer with them from GD. Some dealers have options they order as standard. form the manufacturer. For example our dealer in Florida orders all trailers (when available) with dual A/C since we are in a hot climate most of the year. Or a dealer may order all units with slide toppers. Those items aren't standard from GD but something the dealer wants ALL the trailers they sell to have. So your dealer may order all their trailers with Maxair covers from the factory.

Makes so much sense to have the covers. The vents are useless in the rain without them and you can leave a vent cracked open and not worry about the smoked cover being wind damaged while on the road to keep the temps down in the trailer.
Previously when we had to add our own MaxAir vent covers, the discussion was always around white or black? What colour is your GDRV factory installed vents?

Perhaps. It doesn’t appear in any of the dealers literature though
You would think if they were doing something over and above they would talk about it

Layzee acres rv is a great dealer with great prices but I even had to go to the motor vehicle office myself to transfer the sale and get a transit sticker so extras are not really what they are about

But you definitely could be right

Darn. Told the boss black was the better colour, she chose white which is what we have. It does show the moss well, even from inside the trailer!

Our 2020 22mle just came with the regular covers. Adding the Maxxair covers was one of our first mod.
