Ideas on storage of Lippert Waste Master
I'm in the process of converting my rig to use a Lipper Waste Master system. What I haven't figured out is how to store it.
In case you're not familiar with it, it has this big valve/elbow at the end so it won't fit in the factory storage tube I have on my 349M shown here ..
Lippert sells this box to store the end - has anyone used this? If you have, can you say how hard it was to add this? Do you like it?

Just watched the video on etrailer, no mention of changing the rubber cone. Also you still have to use the bayonet fitting on your drain pipe. Seems to me you would still have the leakage issue unless you glue the waste master fitting on permanently.

I am going to do a permanent installation.
Having dealt with bayonet fittings, poor seals, crappy hose, and generally cheap sewer equipment for a couple of decades, I'm ready to upgrade.
Basically, I'm going to copy what Jim Kerr from Passion Highway did in the video below. Like you mentioned, he didn't use the big Lippert end, but instead used a screw in fitting with the Waste Master extension hose. I just want to try the Lippert compression fitting first.
I'd still like to hear from anyone whose dealt with the large nozzle end and/or used the Lippert locker contraption.

I guess I just don’t see the purpose
In all my years I have never had a leak or issue with the standard sewer stuff
If the system was under high pressure I might see the need for bayonet fittings

Yeah, I didn't have problems for years until I did have a problem. Then it was REALLY bad.
Cheapo hoses rot. I had one split open while using it. Fortunately I was at a dump station with a concrete basin and not at a nice RV park.
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
Um, the bayonet fittings are what comes on almost all standard stuff. Did you mean to say the camlock fittings?signature

Yes thank you for the correction on the fittings
What is a proven longevity of the Wastemaster system though? I assume eventually it has an ability to fail as well
My rhino hose is still in great shape after 6 years although I did pick up a new longer camco hose last year which I now use
