    Lightbulb Solitude 385 GK-R Water Filter Replacement

    What is the best water filter to use in our Grand Design 2020 385 GK-R? It has the built in water filter but I don't know which cartridge to use. Husband threw away old one. Any ideas?

    I've used a Hydro Life Commercial # 2063 for many years and have no complaints. However, I am going to switch to the Portable Limescale Conditioner And RV Water Softener from filterwaterdirect.com for 2021 and use a Glacier Fresh RV filter as a pre-filter at the spigot where I attach the hose at the campsite.     I'm not sure if there is a "best" filter as it depends on what you're trying to remove from the water. But this is the single cartridge filter that I use:

    You'll get a LOT of opinions when ask a "what is the best" question. We use these and are very happy with them. The filter cartridges are not model-specific, BTW.
