    sewer hose storage

Just p/u a 2020 29RS yesterday and only could get two sewer hose in the tube. They were compact down as short as they could be. Is that the way it is?
My sprinter campfire 26RB could hold three in the rear bumper.

In our Imagine 2970, we get a 15' and a 10'. I also carry an additional 10' hose in a bin with my 90 degree elbows. I have not tried 3 in the tube.

We have a 26RL, and tried putting two hoses in our tube. We had to cut a couple of feet off one of them to make it fit.

I would think a rear bumper holder would be longer than one that's underneath a rig.

    Hi Richard,
We have the 2020 29RS as well. Nope, the storage tube is just short.
I went with a Rhino Flex sewer hose because is really scrunches up. Another family member had been very happy with theirs as well.
We needed a new one anyway as we gave our old one away when we sold the last trailer.
BTW Walmart had the best price.
The kit we have came with an 15' extension, I believe, but I've never needed it. It's still in the box.
Every place we have stayed had the water and sewer connection about dead center in the space and that works perfect for our rig.

Enjoy your new rig. We love ours and don't understand why they stopped making that floor plan.

    Have fun!

We have one of those rhino hose kits with the fittings, pretty sure its a 20 footer and with all the fittings inside our tube i have to leave it partially expanded to make sure it doesnt vanish inside the damned thing. It came stock on our 2019 28bh.

Our previous trailer from another manufacturer had such a short storage tube on it that i had to cut a short hose to a shorter length to fit in it.. I added a longer tube to that trailer because it was so silly short.

I carry 2 of the 20 foot Rhino hoses compressed in the bumper of my Imagine 2970RL. I drilled a small hole in one end cap on each hose to allow for air escape when I compress them. The hole also allows air inside the hose to escape when it heats up. Before I did this the hose would expand and pop-off the bumper caps.

We added a second hose storage tube under the frame which stores two additional sections. An easy DIY.

If you are going to add something, you might want to consider the fence post solution that is described in this forum. I installed 2 of them:

One holds an extra sewer hose (and the right angle adapter) as well as a 7' piece of vinyl gutter which is great if you need to support the hose over a longer distance and keep it straight.

The other post holds a 7' folding ladder.
