    I use the same ones as in @FT4NOW in post #2 above. I washed them thoroughly, then soaked them in alcohol. They are stored in my "clean" bin with the drinking water hoses and they are brass, so they should not harbor cooties. I run my filtered water through them.

    My concern is that I have heard that some brass also contains lead, and may not be drinking water safe.

    Eley are the best made bar none. I have several and they work great. A bit pricey though.
