I have the 1400 lb bars on the Equalizer four point WDH. The dealer did not have the 1200 lb bars in stock so they installed the 1400 lb bars. No issues with sway, my Wdh unit seems to work as designed.

What fuel economy are you seeing with the 7.3 and 3.55 gears ? I am thinking of ordering a 2022 7.3 with the 4.3 gears. My F150 Screw with the 2.7 has treated me well the last two years. Zero problems after almost 30k miles. I just feel I will have a much better tow experience with the Heavy Duty Truck. I am maxing out my payload and towing at the upper end of its limits even though its a very strong engine.

I have the 800 - 1200 bars on my Centerline. My Tundra tows it very well. I figured the heavier bars would give me more adjustment at the higher weight since we all know that tongue weights are much heavier than we estimate.

So, we picked up the 250 in Oct. and never got a chance to tow with it.. So I can’t speak to towing economy or even how it tows. We had to travel about 500 miles to get the truck. On the way back (I-80 westbound across all of Iowa) I got 17. That was with cruise set at 70 until we got back to Nebraska and could go 75. Was a calm and cool day. Was pretty happy with that. It definitely rides different from a half ton. We traded in a 2015 Nissan Titan. It rides smooth if the road is smooth but you will feel it crossing bridges and on rougher roads. I’m curious to see if it’ll be a bit smoother with a trailer attached. The ride isn’t a deal breaker for me but could be for some. I don’t think I’d want it as a daily driver but I know many people do. Ours really is strictly our tow vehicle. It spends 90% of the time in the garage, which it just fits. Ours is the super cab. A crew cab wouldn’t fit lengthwise in our garage. It’s just the wife and I so it works out great.

I keep our tires at 65 psi when not towing. 80 as spec when we pull our 2500RL.
It definitely smooths out the ride in the 2500 as does the weight towing.
    It’s a truck though....not an SUV

Not true. Most Ram 1500 are greater on the average at 1500 lbs payload capacity.

This is from the Ram website for payload capacity of the Dodge 1500

    1,242 to 2,322 lbs
