I disagree
This completely depends on the model and actually likely includes all the inventory
The dealer I bought from definitely didn’t care if I bought or not
The dealers that don’t play the games and sell their trailers for bottom dollar wont care.
I wouldn’t purchase from anyone else either.
The dealers with inflated prices likely have inventory and will negotiate more but why anyone would want to play that game
I would travel 2000 miles to get the best deal
Of course you need time to do that but make it happen
You are towing a place to sleep. Make an adventure out of it

bottom line besides price is how is the after you buy getting service and Waite time for service .How soon you can get Warranty work done but more important is the work done right

Wonder if OP is even reading these responses and/or if he made a deal.
Having a trade certainly screws up the whole analysis of the quality of the deal. In the end, most deals involving trades are at best "ok", and generally less than ok for the buyer. Much more favorable for the dealer.

I can make this really really SIMPLE.
If there are 1000 campers on the lot... All of them the exact same model.....
If you paid 20,000 for yours and 999 paid 30,000 for thiers.... If you feel like you got screwed you did.... Even though you paid 10K less than all 999 others... Everytime you get in it you will say... "i got screwed"
Now, if you pay 30,000 and all other 999 people paid 20,000.... If you are happy and feel like you got a good deal you did.... Everytime you get in it, you will lay down and say... DAMN I got a good deal.......(even though you really got screwed)
Bottom line is some pay full msrp some pay 35% under MSRP at the end of the day.... do what makes YOU FEEL good, and quit asking us for our input....
If you are financing what is another 30 bucks a month?
If you are writing a check is 20% on a 30K camper really amount to anything?
