Very Noisy Stove Top Hood Fan

Hello group; the hood fan in our 2019 Imagine 2250RK sounds like a jet engine when in use. Its driving the wife nuts and would like me to replace it. Any suggestions out there?

Are you opening the flap on the outside vent?

Thank you @jkwilson --- Had not idea there was a flap. I just walked out to it and the way the vent cover looks, it did not appear to have a manual operation as such outside but now I see the two "finger tabs" to pop out. Will giver her a test run with the wife and show her; although its up fairly high and she would have to climb the ladder a bit herself.

    Thanks again

    Thanks again
The tabs rotate n mine, and the flap should be latched for travel. I latch mine for wind as well. Just another thing for the checklist.

Not all rigs have an outside vent. At least ours doesn't.

Well, there are pictures of our rig on the internet, some with a vent, some without.
