    Slidding Cargo Tray

I am thinking of installing a sliding cargo tray in our 2400BH front storage. Curious if anyone else has already done this on an Imagine and their experience. I have seen some added to Solitudes in the mod forum but no Imagines.

I evaluated the height of the tray installed against the height of our pass through as well as lost space from only being able place gear in the tray. Decided against it.

I just bought my 2400 and it is parked out back waiting for spring to start all the mods

I thought of a sliding tray but they are more designed for 5ers. Ours has a lip that you would have to build the tray up on eliminating a bunch of storage

The great thing about the imagine drop frame is that the baggage doors are considerably larger than most trailers making leaning in for stuff easier imo

I plan on using the right side for all my folding chairs so will likely put in a divider roughly in the middle

Then just use my current plastic trays to stack all the tools and hoses and such on the left side

I added a small sliding tray on the driver side for my wet (messy) items. I added a upper shelf on the other side for chairs and small totes behind the red box to use some of the height.

The sliding tray is for underneath a dinette but has worked well for me.

I ended up putting in a shelving system in the front storage bay of our unit. See https://www.mygrandrv.com/forum/show...ion-and-Height. I'm still very happy with that route and it's super useful for keeping everything organized. The one tip about not permanently blocking access to the side panel, incase you need to do any work on the city water / fresh tank hookup, is worth reviewing.

Cant agree more. My upper shelf is about 4" from the rear water access panel. I have already accessed twice since adding the shelf....
