Tow veichle front wheel weight
How much weight should the fifth wheel add to the front wheels of the tow vehicle, if any.

My pin weight of 3200lbs to 3800lbs (depending on garage loading) adds 40lbs to front axle of the truck. My pin is centered 1" in front of truck axle center.

When I had my 5er if it added any weight to the front it was not noticeable. We have scales in Oregon that you can drive on anytime they are closed and the digital weight readout is left running. I drove over them many times and the front was almost always the same.
I used a B&W Patriot and tried different settings. All the way forward and back and it never changed the front axle weight.
Depending on the trucks requirements for 5th hitch placement is all I can think of that would change the weight.
