Unbelievable that even the op only changed them because someone suggested it and now has no issue of putting them on someone elses trailer. Even if it is a utility trailer it is still an apparent risk

Decision made. Meeting a guy tonight. I did ask what he intended to do with them before we got into haggling. In the conversation I shared that I didn't want to sell them to someone with a heavy camper given they had mixed reviews on quality and longevity. He stated it wasn't a concern for him as he would be using them for farm wagons on his property.

Well problem solved. You can feel good about the sale as you were honest and above board. It is possible the buyer could be putting your used Westlakes on a rig he is about to sell. Or he could be using them as farm wagons as he claimed. Regardless, your conscience is clear.

You guys (this includes @NB Canada) realize That you don't have to read posts you don't like, right? As @Richter said, My rig is going on it's 3rd season with the factory Westlakes. I'll change them when they are worn out. I make sure they are in good operating condition before trips. I never paid much attention to the tires on my campers in the past...

Is it immoral to sell my Westlake tires?

I was making a point. It doesn’t matter to me what he does with them. I am sure they would serve someone for many years on a trailer.
Trust me I will not be changing my tires until they need to be changed
I don’t follow the same ideas about tires as a few on here

Not at all. Just find people pushing a story based on feelings instead of facts annoying

If you search this and all of the other RV forums you will find LOTS of posts with photos of separated treads and other failures of E rated Westlake tires - as well as the associated damage. I've heard of a grand total of one failures of a G rated Westlake (on Youtube) and no failures for Sailun S637 or Goodyear G614 (in the last 4 years or so). That doesn't mean there aren't any failures and I may have missed some posts where failures were noted (as well as additional E rated Westlake failures).

Of course this is not scientific data by any stretch. But, when you see dozens of posts showing failures of one specific tire - the decision to replace them is NOT based on feelings. As I've stated previously, many of these failures were on heavier 5th wheels but still...
