    tear in skin

Hello, we just bought our 23BHE in December. We love it! Unfortunately, during a high wind event, a large trash can blew into the trailer, causing a small tear in the aluminum skin, about 1". I was so mad at my self for having the trash can so close to the trailer! Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations on how to fix it? Short of body work, I was thinking clear epoxy or silicone to at least seal it up?

Ouch! Well at least you got the first scratch on the new unit out of the way. Smooth sailing from here on out... If it were me, I'd get a set of mechanics picks and a small ball peen hammer (like a 2 oz hammer) and carefully work the area to get it as flat as possible. It doesn't look like too big an area. Then use a clear RTV (or color match if possible), seal the area trying to make it the least noticeable, and call it good.
