    Checking Lithium Battery

What is the simplest way to monitor a pair of Lithium Batteries?
I don't want to string monitor wire from one end of the rig (2500RL) to the other end, if I can help it.
Is there something I could attach to the batteries that would give me a read out or a handheld tool?
I'm not a DIY person but any help you can give me would be really appreciated.

    Thanks.

This part worries me...."Incorrect installation can be hazardous.
Please consult a licensed professional and follow all applicable electrical codes during installation".

I second the Victron 712. I have a second on on our 35 ft sailboat.
Very simple installation. The SHUNT gets install on negative output 1 or 2 ft after the battery with nothing before it.
The monitor itself is connected with phone plugs in it to a phone plug on the shunt.
Our batteries were relocated to pass through as that’s where the inverted and solar controller are so it’s a 6 ft upward reach into the master bedroom where the monitor is stalled in the wall.

Very simple to install....even without experience.

Everything comes with a legal warning. If you are not comfortable installing this or any electrical component, then hire the task done.

I too agree with the Victron Energy BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor. It's bluetooth.

I have the BMV-712 and love it but you no longer need the gauge. This would probably fit the bill nicely https://www.victronenergy.com/batter...-battery-shunt
