    Looking for next winter destination

    Trying to decide where to go late this fall for the winter months. I am looking for suggestions where to stay in our camper for the winter. Would like to try Texas maybe by Brownsville or perhaps in the Hill country area. I am open to any suggestions ,but would like a recommendation from anyone on a park to stay at. Thanks

    Check out all Federal parks along gulf. Florida has many good ones; however if you haven't booked you will have to go to private campground as all the Federal and State campground are most likely booked for next 6 months for Federal and 11 months for the states. One of our favorite campgrounds is Fort Pickens Federal near Pensacola, FL. If you go there be sure to eat at Joe Patti's Seafood at Pensacola and if Naval Air Museum has opened back up, visit it.

    Come on out to the Oregon Coast. No crowds. Bring your rain gear. KEN

    Not a fan of a lot of rain, we usually go to Arizona but would like to try something different to be able to see new things.

    We stayed in Port Aransas, TX for a month last October. Mild temperatures uncrowded beaches and plenty of fresh seafood. Nearby sights in Corpus Christi. There are numerous commercial campgrounds in Port Aransas.

    Can't go wrong with South Texas in the winter Bubbajim. Lots of great places to stay from Galveston all the way down to Port Aransas and especially down in the South Padre Island area. Come on down, the waters fine!!
