    2015 Solitude 36 RL - Winter Snow

Is it recommended to remove the snow from the roof. I have a winter cover and there is approximately 2 feet of snow. With my last trailer 35 QSQB Heartland Elkridge i never cleared the snow and it was fine. Even with upwards of 4 feet.

I know GD is a different construction.

    Thanks

The roof should take a pretty hefty snow load (it's rated for walking on and when I do that, there's 200 lbs. on one foot at a time). What I would worry about is snow/ice dams around ACs, vents, and slide seals (if they're out). Also, at 21 lbs. per cubic foot, a couple of feet of snow over the entire roof could amount to several thousand pounds. It would be distributed evenly, but all that weight would be on the suspension and/or landing and leveling struts.
