Uneven battery cables between battery bank and inverter/charger

Like most of you, I'm using 4/0 cable from my battery bank to my inverter/charger.

From my positive post to IC, I have 5 feet (Post/Fuse/Shutoff/IC...1/1/3Ft) 5FT Total
From my negative post to IC, I have 4 feet (Post/shunt/IC...3/1Ft) 4FT Total

Everything works fine and nothing is heating up at all. Question: Should I add in another 1FT on the negative side...for symmetry? Is there any advantage?

    Thanks, Oz

Voltage drop is a combination of wire diameter and total length (from + back to -). While adding 1 ft. would be minimal change, there's no need. You're slightly better "as is".
