WD & Sway Control Hitch Questions

I've been searching online and on this forum all the different hitches and I'm about to go crazy.
I think I've narrowed it down to 3. They are:
    Reese Steadi-Flex 66559 $737.53
    Curt 17500 TruTrack. $479.99
    Equal-i-zer 4 point. $657.99
    All from Amazon.

Anyone have options on these or this topic? I sure could use some helpful insight.

    Good Morning,

I have experience with the Equalizer. Very happy with it. When we got our trailer 315rlts, and got the 1400lb bars. After a few trips we decided to go with 1600lb bars. Works great!

I have used an Equalizer 4 point 600lb bars on my Jayco x17a with a RAV4 and it towed like it was on a rail
Currently have a Husky Centreline for the new trailer
First tow of 1300km was perfect

I think they are all good. I would just pick one and go for it

For ease of adjustment “weigh-safe” is hands down what I would go with and likely will at some point in the future

The dealer sold the Husky and I wanted it all ready when I got there so I could have a quick turn around is why I have it

Its easy to go crazy as there's so many available. I too have the husky center line. No issues either. My only little complaint is its a little noisy in slow tight turns. The Anderson has a good reputation and is only 50lbs or so. The Blue Ox is also one that I would strongly entertain.

Thanks for replying. I hadn’t considered the Husky or the Anderson, I will look into them. I don’t like the chain on the Blue Ox so I won’t consider them.
What do you guys mean when you say it’s noisy? What sound is it making like a banging or scraping sound?

Yes, when you make turns it creeks and clunks.

I find the Husky quieter than my equalizer so far

The equalizer in slow turns would make a loud bang

I use the equilizer 4 point 10,000/1,000 and have no complaints. It is the only WD I have used.

It was noisy according to my DW so I bought the nylon pads to quiet it. The pads may reduce sway control but I haven't had any problems.

Ours sounds a little like an old wooden boat cracking. Only in slow tight turns.

I have been completely impressed with the quality and the technology of the Weigh Safe True Tow. Manages the big time tongue weight and size of our Momentum 31G extremely well. Definitely worth a look. It has a gauge in the head that shows the exact tongue weight. There is also a phone app that you input some specific measurements of your rig and that measured tongue weight and the app tells you how much distributed weight you should have. That distributed eight is adjusted with a big thru bolt in the head. Just turn the bolt until the gauge reads what the app says. It's been totally bulletproof for us. Several others with the big TT style toy haulers have it as well.
