    337 rear stabilizers

My rear stabliers on my 337 are all the way up. When trying to run them down they move a little the a clutching sound happens like on the slides. Anyone know how to fix this? I thought I might try and manual try to move them down, but the manual says you have to unplug one of the motor leads? is this true? thanks!

It sounds like you have a stripped gear or broken teeth on the rack. You should be able to use the manual crank without removing a motor lead as you're driving the gearbox. If it's a stripped gear or broken teeth you won't be able to deploy them manually either. Looks like a trip to the dealer...

Could I have sheered a pin? Dealer thinks that what it could be. of course it isn't covered under warranty. First time out, lifted jacks and now they won't go down, a little frustrated.

Call GD Customer Service at 574.825.9679...have your 17 digit VIN available.

Janice...I don't think that the 'about me' works for a 'Registered Guest'.

try using your foot to press down on one of the feet. I have also had occasion where I raise / lower /raise / lower in quick sequence and it'll shake loose.

Sometimes mine won't go down on the first try, they just click. Raise them just a little and then, if like mine, they will go down normally. Doesn't make sence but it works for me.

Dealer called broken gear waiting on parts from GD. I don't understand how it happened, they went down side to side they were off by 1/2" put a board under them to make more level. Went to go down went about 1/4" stopped, clicking noise. Would go up 1/4" clicking noise. Hope this will be our only issue. Love the camper otherwise.
