Question Tertiary Water Filter In Kitchen Island?

    Hey all,

I've currently got a double canister setup filtering all water that comes into the rig with a 5 micron and .5 micron filters.

I'd like to add a third canister filter under the sink to filter for taste and odor.

Anybody found one that installs simply and easily? (I'm not trying to cut an extra hole into my countertop, just want to filter everything that comes out of the tap. Would this cut my pressure by too much?)

I'm thinking I'd then buy the Clearsource 3-filter replacement pack and swap out all three.

    Thanks much,
    Ross

If your filters are outside would it be easier to add a 3rd filter in the wet bay ? Changing the filters can be a wet process, not sure If you want to change them in an RV cabinet that would suck up water like a sponge

I've used this company for years, for under-sink RO units. There are new-generation design filter housings that have been around for a few years, sealed and self-contained filters that twist into place. Way, way easier than the old type units like the single stock filter in the wetbay. You get a wee bit of water draining out when you twist out an old and replace with a new, but, in my old RO system, I could replace all 4 filters in less than a minute.

Specifically, I'm talking about filters like this product line: https://www.h2odistributors.com/ever...ent-cartridges
