No problem. I appreciate the tip. Just wanted to delete the comment because it didn't belong here. Still haven't had time to see where that subject of discussion was, but when I do, I'll make sure im in the right place.

Did you happen to add a 12 volt outlet for your Davey Crocket?

I did not. I was frustrated with my inability to consistently cook on the Davey Crocket so I purchased the small Traeger Tailgater. I seem to have better luck with the Traeger and it carries nicely on the rear cargo rack along with our Webber grill.

Re-read this.. Best location for solar drop is above the living room cabinet just in front of the bathroom wall. You can then route cables down through that wall following the same path as 12v wires to the overhead cabinet lights. You end up dropping straight into the basement for routing to controller and batteries.

    Hi

I am also looking to do an 8 100 watt panel installation and came upon your post, have you been able to find the truss and bolt your bracket directly in the structure ?

Have you been able to find a structure plan of the 303 ?

    Thanks for your time

I contacted GD and they sent me a roof structure drawing. However, when you get on the roof, you can plainly see where the trusses are. They appear a bit darker under the roof skin and by feel, you can tell where your on solid material.

I just attached the panel brackets to the roof decking. I have several thousand miles on it now with no sign of problems.
